Prodigy Announces Mobb Deep & Lox Collaboration

    Two New York Rap crews, Lox and Mobb Deep, have collaborated on a song for the first time, says Prodigy. During a recent interview with Shade 45’s Sway In The Morning, Prodigy spoke about the collaboration and upcoming album news. 

    Mobb Deep album about to drop April 1,” Prodigy says in the clip. “New Mobb Deep album. Self-titled. Mobb Deep. The Lox is working on they album right now. I don’t know when it’s coming out, but we just did a Mobb Deep-Lox song for they album. It’s the first time we ever did a song together.”

    Lox recently released its The Trinity EP. Beyond working on their upcoming group album, the Lox emcees have also discussed potential upcoming solo albums. Styles P, for instance, recently announced his Phantom & The Ghost album. 

    Mobb Deep is scheduled to release The Infamous Mobb Deep April 1. The project’s release date and cover art were recently announced

      2. Wasn’t that like 02′? Why didnt he continue in that Vein? In addition, styles is probably the only one that has explored lyrical versatility. the rest are monotonous.
