Post Malone can get into a lot of places just off the strength of being who he is, regardless of his tattoos or clothing – but an Australian rooftop bar is apparently not one of them.

According to a Billboard report on Monday (February 13), the superstar singer was denied entry to QT Perth over the weekend because the bar’s dress code prohibits “face, neck, and offensive tattoos.”

“They turned me away for my tattoos,” Posty told The West Australian. “I’ve never really experienced anything like that.”

However, it seems that the bouncer didn’t realize it was Post Malone, as the bar’s apology appears to say things would have gone differently if they did.

“At QT, we aim to welcome everyone and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual,” they wrote in a statement. “QT has been recognized for this for many years. However, on Saturday night, our third-party security did not exercise the appropriate discretion and we take full responsibility for this. We sincerely apologize to the individuals affected.”

According to the report, Post left and was welcomed with open arms at the nearby 18 Knots rooftop bar – who are probably very happy that their competitor dropped the ball.

The “Rockstar” singer was Down Under to open for Red Hot Chili Peppers on their six-date stadium tour of Australia, which wrapped on Sunday night (February 12).

Back in October, Post added to his ever-growing face tattoo collection with the initials “DDP” in Olde English font on his forehead. DDP is reportedly the initials of the singer’s daughter who was born last May, but he’s yet to reveal the child’s full name.

On the music side of things, Post Malone apparently has an entire album’s worth of material with Swae Lee that they’ve been working on over the past few years.

“Me and Post, we got a whole project together like, you know what I’m saying, we just been cooking up,” Swae told XXL in the fall. “That’s my bro. We been on tour together. We done it all. We got a project we could drop together right now if we wanted to.”

While the “Black Beatles” rapper did not confirm whether or not he and Post Malone have plans to release new music together, he did seem enthusiastic about the creative potential of their relationship as time goes on.

“I think we should just continue cooking up and seeing where it goes,” he said. “The sky is the limit with that shit.”

The two artists established their creative chemistry on “Spoil My Night” off Post’s 2018 album Beerbongs & Bentleys as well as their 2017 smash “Sunflower” – which recently surpassed Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” as the highest-certified song in RIAA history after receiving a 17x multi-platinum certification.
