Pop Smoke & Dua Lipa Unite For Royal ‘Demeanor’ Video After She Denounced DaBaby

After making history with a second posthumous No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, the late Pop Smoke and Dua Lipa’s “Demeanor” collaboration has been brought to life with a royal visual, which arrived on Thursday (July 29).

The Nabil-directed music video finds a royal family gearing up for a party. Pop is seen in a victorian photo alongside doves in the room and then his ghost takes the master seat at the top of the table to kick his rhymes. Lipa enters the fray with a chaotic party taking place, but she straightens everyone out and restores order in the royal castle.

“DEMEANOR VIDEO @POPSMOKE10 IS OUT NOW,” the British-Albanian pop star wrote when promoting the visual. “Thank you to the team and Pop’s family for having me on this song. thank you to my friends for making this video with me  Directed by@nabildo We hope you like it! Much love.”

It’s been a busy week for Dua Lipa in the rap sphere, as she condemned her “Levitating (Remix)” collaborator DaBaby for his homophobic rant over the weekend during his Rolling Loud Miami set.

“I’m surprised and horrified at DaBaby’s comments,” she wrote. “I really don’t recognize this as the person I worked with. I know my fans know where my heart lies and that I stand 100% with the LGBTQ community. We need to come together to fight the stigma and ignorance around HIV/AIDS.”

Pop Smoke made Billboard chart history by becoming the first artist ever to have their first two albums debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Faith totaled 88,000 total album-equivalent units earned in its first week and look for the deluxe to drop on Friday (July 30).

    1. unite? you bird(had to be a female that wrote this) how sway when he’s dead. the title makes it seems like they were working together on this song

    2. Examples for good pop music: Kylie Minogue, Thalía, or a certain part of The Beatles discography (as they’ve made music in every genre existed in their age).
Examples for wack pop music: THIS.

    3. Im not racist, all my friends are n words. Just dont call them the g or f words so I wont denounce you!

      1. Are you dumb or are you dumb? Do you understand the definition of racist or do you understand the definition of racist? Bro you gotta be dumb ?????

        1. I think the only dumb one here is probably you bro, whoever posted that is just making a joke about some dumbass interview Dua Lipa did in the past. Calm your hype ass down, fool

    4. “Pop Smoke made Billboard chart history by becoming the first artist ever to have their first two albums debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200” who tf wrote this? Because, as it’s written, this is absolutely not true. There are probably over 50 rappers that have attained that feat…. Probably more. Step it tf up.

      1. There were tons of artists who’s FIRST 2 ALBUMS debuted at number 1? LOL. Name a few. The only one I can think of off the top is Em.

    5. Pop Smoke’s breakout hit had him making fun of gay people but she’s mad at DaBaby. Dua Lipa riding the wave I guess.
