Police Make Arrest In Connection With French Montana Tour Bus Shooting

Philadelphia police have made an arrest in connection with a homicide that occurred near French Montana’s tour bus in late February.

The Wall Street Journal reports that police have apprehended Frank Briggs, 20, who now faces charges of murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, and firearms crimes.

The shooting occurred on February 28 when Briggs allegedly fired into a crowd surrounding French’s tour bus.

Investigators said the bus, along with cars filled with friends and family, had arrived at a hotel for an after-party. French had headlined a sold-out show at the Theatre of Living Arts, earlier.

The man killed was Jowann King, 26, of Flushing, New York.

French Montana has repeatedly denied that he was the target in the shooting.

“It has a capacity of 1000 and is used for smaller concerts.”

      1. what rappers are playing dive bars though? i though this guy was supposed to be one of the hottest rappers out right now and he only playing for 1000 people?

    2. “what rappers are playing dive bars though?”

Indie rappers and has been rappers play dive bars and clubs. While French playing for 1,000 people isn’t monumental, he’s still a new artist and has plenty of time to go on tour with other names and play before alot more.
