Little Brother, Justus League and the Hall
of Justus have a lot in store for the rest of the year.
In the coming months, the family of producers and emcees
will release various projects including HOJ’s Soldiers of
Fortune, Darien Brockington’s Somebody To Love
and the new Little Brother record Get Back.
Phonte spoke with DX about
the newest LPs and what fans can expect from the crew.
They can just continue to expect the tradiiton of dope
music-What we’ve been doing. The HOJ
compilation is going to be a compilation of our extended family, artists that
we’ve been working with closely over the years…It’s going to be an extension
of us as a team and another brick in our foundation of dope records,” he told us of
the newest LPs.
With the new releases, the crew also has a contest for
MySpace users. They have offered a free download for a track
which users can rhyme, sing or “yodel”
over. The user with the most downloads by October 28 will win free copies of
the two new releases, as well as “other goodies” and autographs from
the crew.
The Hall of Justus’ Soldiers of Fortune
and D-Brock’s Somebody to Love will hit stores on the
same day. Be on the look out for both October 3.
