Peter Rosenberg’s live interview series Noisemakers has brought some of Hip Hop’s most intriguing personalities to Manhattan’s 92YTribeca. Diddy, Q-Tip, Bun B, DJ Premier, and Talib Kweli are just a few of the artists who have taken part in Noisemakers.
Next month will be quite the iconic Noisemakers as former Little Brother members Phonte and 9th Wonder are scheduled to join Rosenberg for a live Q&A. The Noisemakers interview will be the first time Phonte and 9th Wonder have shared a stage together in almost six years.
The interview also marks Phonte and 9th Wonder’s first interview together since 9th Wonder left the group years ago.
Noisemaker attendees can expect to hear about solo projects, the legacy of Little Brother, and much more.
9th Wonder left the group in early 2007 due to what may been creative differences and last year Phonte and Big Pooh announced that Little Brother was no more.
Noisemakers will take place on April 6 at the 92YTribeca cultural center. Tickets to the event can be purchased at 92YTribeca.org or by phone at 212-601-1000.
Another full-length LB album with all the members on it… anyone… or is that just wishful thinking.
Could be….I doubt it though. Phonte is primarily concerned with Foreign Exchange….and rapping would probably be in small doses….just speculating though, would be sweet
please another lb album…
Well hopefully this could be the begining of their reunion. I know there were some deeper issues between them group-wise, cos of the heated accusations exchanged when 9th first left the group. In addition other groups I hope will follow Artifacts lead and reunite are: Pete Rock & Cl Smooth,Outkast, Das Efx (to drop a new album cos I heard they’re currently touring),EPMD,and finally Nice and Smooth. That’ll be dope
Oh and the Beatnuts with all original members…..ohh wee
@Nana: Now that would be insane I second that. Little Brother’s demise was too premature if you ask me, & I really think the last LB album should have 9th on the boards all the way. Leftback was too cut-and-paste for me. Bring back the flavour that was on ‘The Listening’. In my opinion one of hip hop’s underrated albums.
true dat man…good to hear this shit. was just bumpin’ a coupla albums back to back (90’s-00’s) the past weekend & i thought i never acknowledged the ‘So Focused’ track by Boot Camp, off they Last Stand album, produced by 9th. i think all they albums including the Chitlin’ Circuit & Justus are tight.
