Legendary rapper/producer Pete Rock will be releasing his new album, NY’s Finest on Feb. 26 via Nature Sounds.
According to Billboard, Pete Rock produced every track except one handled by Green Lantern. The first single is set to be We Roll featuring Jim Jones. The single’s B-side contains Till I Retire and 914, featuring Styles P and Sheek Louch.
In addition to the aforementioned artists, the album will also feature Redman, Papoose, Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon and Masta Killa, as well as Little Brother. Fans will also have the option of ordering the iTunes version of the album, which include a bonus track with Slum Village.
Pete Rock’s last outing was 2004’s Soul Survivors II. He recently produced tracks for Redman and Talib Kweli’s most recent albums.
