Pete Rock “Petestrumentals 2” Release Date, Cover Art, Tracklist & Project Stream

    Pete Rock has released Petestrumentals 2, the sequel to his 2001 Petestrumentals project.

    The New York producer‘s 20-track instrumental mixtape is available through Mello Music Group.

    Petestrumentals included previously unreleased tracks from the beatmaker that were recorded from 1990-1995.

    In addition to his work with C.L. Smooth, Pete Rock has produced and-or remixed material for Public Enemy, Ghostface Killah, Nas and Keith Murray, among others.

    Pete Rock also mixed J. Dilla‘s posthumous Jay Stay Paid album.

    1. This is terrible….not a hater I love his first 2 with CL and the INI stuff he making stuff no one wants to hear …just being honest and I’m not a young bul

    2. Pete’s genre in my iTunes is “GOAT”. He still is (to me) because of what he did in his prime, but no body of work he’s put out since Soul Survivor 1 has had half as much… soul or vibe as their predecessors. I wish he would focus more on melodies and less on chops. Shit’s overall comin out bland and sterile, with all due respect to the O.G..
