Internet blogger and TV personality Perez Hilton has a new outlet to spread the latest celebrity gossip, this time hitting the airwaves of New York’s Hot 97 Hip Hop station.
Hilton, who is widely known for exposing Hollywood secrets, such as being the first to post Jay-Z and Beyonce‘s wedding site on his website the day of the event, will join radio personality Miss Jones‘ morning show on Hot 97. The show is syndicated in numerous urban markets.
The “Hot 97 Perez Hilton Update”, airing seven days a week at 8:00 am, will include Hilton‘s 60 second comedic interpretation of the day’s celebrity gossip, including updates from his website PerezHilton.com.
“Perez Hilton is an amazing personality with unprecedented Hollywood access, and making him part of the Hot 97 family adds another dimension to the legendary Hot 97 brand,” said Ebro Darden, Hot 97 Program Director.
The gossip bloggers’ radio segment is scheduled to premiere May 5, 2008 at 8:00 am.
