Paul Wall & Slim Thug To Headline Spring Board South Music Festival

Two former Swishahouse emcees are among the acts announced as festival performers this week. Paul Wall and Slim Thug will co-headline the second annual Spring Board South Music Festival in their hometown of Houston, Texas. The festival lasts three days, June 21-23, and covers various genres that represent the H-Town community. Paul and Slim Thug, who both were featured on Mike Jones’ 2004 hit “Still Tippin’,” will perform on the first night.

Slim Thug last released Serve & Collect III, with his Boss Hogg Outlawz group in 2011, as Paul Wall’s Heart Of A Champion was his last LP, released in 2010 on Warner Bros. Records.

Event tickets are available via Warehouselive.

    1. We will be there for sure. Y’all should checkout thegrandreport.com, they usually have some good reads as well

    2. Former Swishahouse? I thought Paul Wall the People’s Champ was still at the ‘House.

    3. Two irrelevant rappers who were once on top of the rap world with videos on MTV, hit singles and whatnot reduced to being only local stars once again. How fucking fitting. They both suck.
