Somebody’s interviews are clearly upsetting PARTYNEXTDOOR, and he took to Twitter to vent about it. The Toronto singer fired off a tweet Wednesday morning (September 29) taking aim at a select rapper or group of artists regarding their series of recent interviews.
“Rap n-ggas do the most interviews,” he lashed out before deleting the tweet a few hours later.
It’s unknown exactly who the cryptic tweet was aimed at. PARTYNEXTDOOR didn’t provide any follow-up and left it to the imagination of his followers. His mentions became flooded with fans calling him out for feeling left out and professed their hopes to see him in front of a microphone for an interview of his own sometime soon.
“That’s how the entertainment industry works,” one fan wrote while trying to impart some wisdom to him. “The more interviews you doing (with the right media outlets) the more successful you are.”

Another fan took PARTYNEXTDOOR’s words a step further and decoded them, claiming PND meant to say rappers are revealing too much personal information these days, which is usually against street code.
“I could only assume he’s referring to the idea that some of these street rappers who generally claim to not divulge a lot of personal information, are outchea doing a lot of interviews,” they added.
The OVO signee has been very quiet in 2021, with the exception of lending background vocals, co-writing and co-production to Drake’s Certified Lover Boy track “Fucking Fans.” PND also brought his 2014 and 2017 pair of COLOURS EPs to streaming services at the top of the year.
