Obie Trice Talks, Sounds off on New Projects

    Obie Trice recently released Second
    Round’s On Me
to critical acclaim. (Peep DX’s review of
the LP Here.) His Bar Shots mix tape also gave fans more tracks to
enjoy. It also seems the musical output from Shady Records
    will not stop anytime soon.

A highly anticipated Shady Records Mix tape is
already getting close to dropping. The tape is said to feature new and
exclusive tracks from Slim’s roster, including tracks
    from G-Unit and Obie.

“That should be coming out in a week or
    two,”
Obie said to MTV. “It was called The
Re-Up, but the last I talked to
    Em, he said he
didn’t want to name it The Re-Up anymore. You got Stat Quo on there, Cashis
on there, G-Unit on there, Bobby Creekwater. It’s all over the
    place.”

O also noted that D12 was
currently recording their next album in Los
Angeles. That LP will feature unreleased verses from Proof
as well as original material from the Dirty Dozen.
