Who do we pay? When can we get the shipment out?’ They sent us $10,000. we sent them 100 CDs.”

Nipsey Hussle says he did not have a chance to speak with Jay Z about this transaction yet.

Glasses Malone recently spoke with HipHopDX about his respect for Hussle’s “Crenshaw” release

“He just took it to another level of what artists can do,” Glasses Malone said. “That just to me speaks to brilliance about his artistry. [Nipsey Hussle] is like that. That’s the kind of stronghold that he has to have over his fan base to mobilize them to make them line up around the motherfucking corner to buy CDs. That just shows how much love they have for him. He’s a real powerful artist. His whole thing is inspiration. His whole movement is built of, ‘You can get it, too.’ He leaves you with a certain level of being inspired.”

    1. Jay is a lame for that. Where was his money when Papoose, Saigon, and countless other NY rappers put out their albums and flopped?

      1. Still having a hard time believing this is even true. But I think the reason he did this was because Nip is doing something they never did and thats completely cut out the middle man and just sell mixtapes for 100$ and cmon son we all know papoose can’t write a song to save his life why would he waste money on an album from Pap anyways. He can rappity rap all day but he can’t make a song.

      2. That was a strong business move. It’s like a basketball scout taking a player out & showing him the good time he could have with the team. He’s obviously looking to acquire some talent from the West while the pot is bubbling. C’mon guys. Don’t just throw hate. Dig deeper.

      3. naw its more like when you see a kid selling shitty lemonde on the street for a $2 a glass so you buy some just to help the little ones out even though you know you coulda bought a whole jug of lemonade with that money you just spent

    2. this gonna be rappers new hustle. $100 mixtapes but you get to meet a bum rapper and get your picture taken plus a cheap ass hoodie! and they might even try to steal your girl if you’re lucky!!!

      1. hah cuz maino only gets 25 cents off an album so hes basically giving his money to atlantic records…jay is supporting someone who came up with a new way to cut out the middlemen which nowadays are the record companies

    3. Yo Jay I know we had problems but why you ain’t buy my last album with Alchemist? Shit was only $10 and it was one of the best albums of the year!

    4. “thats completely cut out the middle man and just sell mixtapes for 100$”

If his product was that good, meaning it could sell in stores, he wouldn’t have to care about the middleman. This is just some hustla antics. He better send Jay two Xmas cards this year for bailing his butt out of the fire.

    5. Lol jigga paid that much? I highly doubt that! Even if it was true, good luck trying to get jigga to come up and admit to it. You should’ve kept your mouth shut until you spoke to the big homie confirming instead of taking word from his middleman. The man is desperate for attention and to live off someone else’s fame. I bet none of its true and he’s really dying to see if fans will actually pay that much for such horse shit!
