Nielsen Releases Top 10 Most Aired Songs of 2007

    This week, Soundscan parent company Nielsen released the Top 10 songs aired in the United States during 2007. Black Eyed PeasFergie topped the charts with 380,742 BDS spins of her hit, “Big Girls Don’t Cry.” The #2 honors went to crooner T-Pain‘s Yung Joc-assisted “Buy U A Drank” at 373,646 spins.

    Other urban acts to make the Top 10 included Rihanna and Jay-Z‘s all-weather smash “Umbrella,” as well as Beyonce‘s hit “Irreplaceable.”

    Oddly enough, Nielsen also released the Top 10 artists of overall domestic U.S. spins. The only urban act was former Pop star Justin Timberlake with 772,332 overall spins, coming in at #8. The “Sexy Back” star was in the company of over eight Country acts, including Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney and Toby Keith.
