DXnext alum and Young Money artist Nicki Minaj has been everywhere lately, but she’s yet to appear on television – on her own. After successful collaborations with artists such as Mariah Carey, Ludacris and Trey Songz, Minaj looks to this Sunday, September 12 to take the television stage all on her own.
Spokespeople for MTV have confirmed that the New York native will perform her Annie Lennox-sampling single “Your Love” before this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
The VMA’s pre-show airs live on MTV at 8pm EST. Rapper Maino is also involved in the pre-show, while stars such as Kanye West, Drake, Eminem and B.o.B. are performing during this year’s main event. HipHopDX exclusively revealed the “Best Hip Hop Video” nominations last month.
