Nicki Minaj Reveals “We Miss You” Demo Not About Her Cousin

Earlier this week, tragedy hit Nicki Minaj when her cousin, 27-year-old Nicholas Telemaque, was slain in New York. Nicki delivered the sad news to her fans via her Twitter account.

Yesterday (July 7), a song by Minaj titled “We Miss You” leaked online, which many believe was in response to her cousin’s death.

Not so, says Nicki, who took to Twitter once again to explain the situation.

Tho the lyrics of “We Miss You” eerily depict the circumstances surrounding my cousin’s death, I wrote & recorded that song on 5/24/201011 hours ago via UberSocial Favorite Retweet Reply

Nicki further revealed that the track was originally meant for her album Pink Friday, and was sent to Mariah Carey and Keyshia Cole over a year ago for a potential feature, but didn’t make the album due to clearance issues.

She added that the track was “an unauthorized leak.”

    1. Nothing strange about it…If you wanna stay rich and powerful you gotta give up a blood sacrifice. She just happened to describe how her blood sacrifice would go down a year before it happened.

      1. because if you think this girl had her cousin done to have a hit song then you’re dumber than most trolls.

    2. yeaa this stupid bitch cost her cousins death however we don’t know if it’s for staying famous or for trying to leave the illuminati Cuz Wayne ain’t with it no more, and people thinking that song was a tribute was the only thing keeping them from really rating it a 1 instead of a 3
