Nicki Minaj has reportedly been confirmed as a judge for the upcoming season of American Idol.
According to US Weekly, the Harajuku Barbie is “definitely” going to sit in the judge’s chair, as confirmed by two sources, but the deal is still pending completion. “I’m not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it,” said a source. “A few more slight things to sign off on but it is happening.”
Another insider claims that it’s a done deal and that she’s “100% confirmed to judge American Idol.”
Mariah Carey was recently tapped as one of the judge’s on the upcoming season of the singing competition. Her deal was reportedly worth $18 million.
