Nicki Minaj is no stranger to controversy, but rarely do her subjects flip the script and come out in support of her — Natalie Nunn is one such person to do so.
On Friday (June 30), Lil Uzi Vert finally released their long-awaited Pink Tape. Given the color code, few were surprised at Minaj’s presence on the tracklist and “Endless Fashion” has already become a fan favorite.

The collaboration, however, did raise some eyebrows as Nicki raps: “Ayo, even if my name was Natalie, none these bitches still couldn’t chin-check me.” Though many found this line to be offensive, Nunn herself was thrilled about it.
In addition to voicing her excitement about the name drop on multiple Instagram stories, the reality TV star even posted a Spotify screenshot of the song and captioned it: “I LOVE YOU @nickiminaj PLEASE COME HOST THE BADDIES REUNION NOW IM ASKING PLEASEEEEEEE NICKI I LOVE YOU [kiss emoji].”

Nunn didn’t seem to take offense to the lyrics and contrarily embraced the attention her long chin brings. During an Instagram Live session, she even offered to help with the music video for “Endless Fashion.”
“Shout out to Nicki for the shout-out,” she said. “I already told ya’ll this chin was like literally international. This chin has been making noise for years and I love it here. And I hope if Nicki does a music video, that I can be in it.”
Nicki also opened up about the draining recording process to ensure she made the deadline for Uzi’s project. Shortly after the album went live, she took to Twitter to reveal that she spent 10 hours writing her guest verse before turning it in at the last minute.
She added that during this process, she had to continually ask Uzi for more time while assuring him that she’d deliver before the cut-off point.

“Girl I started @ 8am & finished like 5pm. When I tell you I was exhausted by the time I was done. Lol. B/c I was rushing to get it in on time,” she wrote in response to Uzi’s girlfriend, JT, who had applauded her for “how fast you turned your verse in.
“I kept telling him ‘30 mins’ then hitting him back 2 hours later TB 15-20 more minutes Uzi!!!! I did that ALL DAY LONG YO!”
