Nicki Minaj has taken a moment to poke fun at her friend and collaborator Lil Uzi Vert following the debut of the Philly rapper’s new alter-ego, Leslie.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Monday (April 17), Nicki posted a side-by-side of Uzi as Leslie with a photo of herself from the 2009 Young Money music video “Bedrock.”

“She said I can make your bedrock,” Minaj captioned the post.

A ton of the Barbz got a laugh out of the comparison but one person felt like it was a missed opportunity for Nicki to quote lyrics from her verse on Ludacris’ “My Chick Bad.”

Running down the court, I’m dunkin’ on ’em, Lisa Leslie,” she raps on the 2010 track.

Nicki and Lil Uzi Vert have teamed up in the past on tracks such as Uzi’s “The Way Life Goes (Remix)” and they both guested on Meek Mill’s “Froze.”

Lil Uzi Vert debuted their emo-inspired alter-ego in Thailand over the weekend, complete with painted nails and a new haircut, after they performed at the inaugural Rolling Loud Thailand.

The “Just Wanna Rock” hitmaker posted a series of photos showing off Leslie’s emo-inspired hairstyle and outfit, along with a video of them eating a cockroach.

In the pictures, Baby Pluto can be seen wearing a “Pink Tape” T-shirt, which is the name of their upcoming new album.

Fans were divided as they took to the comment section of Lil Uzi Vert’s post to share their thoughts on the alter-ego, with many people mocking the new look.

“N-gga looking like somebody emo auntie,” one fan wrote, while another joked: “Uzi looking like he just joined panic at the disco.”

Pennsylvania rapper Eem Triplin, meanwhile, hailed Uzi as “not human” while using a goat emoji to crown them one of the greatest of all time.

Uzi is currently working on their long-awaited third album, The Pink Tape, which is set to be released this year. Don Cannon recently claimed Uzi has recorded almost 700 songs for the project.

“I gotta say him because he’s non-stop,” he said. “Right now, we working on the album and he got 680 songs [from the last] 18 months. I call him the Kobe Bryant when he was saying he used to shoot jump shots after the game.
