Nicki Minaj has been achieving feat after feat, with her latest becoming the first female rapper to hit one billion streams in 2024.

The Juice Pop reported the news on Wednesday (February 28). A bulk of the streams are likely credited to 2023’s Pink Friday 2 and its two lead singles, “FTCU” and “Everybody” with Lil Uzi Vert.

The news arrives just days after Minaj surpassed JAY-Z to become the sixth longest-charting rapper of all time.

ChartData reported Thursday (February 22) that the Queens native’s music has charted for 1,945 cumulative weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200. These statistics were also confirmed by Billboard.

Only Drake, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Kanye West, and Future have more consecutive chart placements, and Minaj is the longest-charting female rapper on the list.

Earlier this year, Pink Friday 2 also became the fastest album by a female rapper to surpass one billion streams on Spotify.

And Nicki Minaj still has even more to celebrate. Her upcoming Pink Friday 2 Tour is already making a splash as it has reportedly become the rapper’s best-selling trek yet.

Taking to her Instagram Stories last Wednesday (February 21), the Young Money hitmaker shared a screenshot of a Live Nation press release that read: “Nicki Minaj Presents Pink Friday 2 World Tour is now her best-selling tour to date with more than 25 sold-out arena shows in just days of presale.”

It continues: “Minaj sold 30,000 tickets in her home state alone with shows in Newark, New York City and Brooklyn, where an extra show is being added.”
