Nick Cannon Vows To Finish Nipsey Hussle’s Dr. Sebi Documentary

The senseless shooting death of Nipsey Hussle has undoubtedly torn a rift within the Hip Hop community. On Sunday (March 31) reports broke in the late afternoon the Crenshaw native had been shot six times outside of his Marathon clothing store in Hyde Park.

As a result, numerous tributes from high caliber artists like The Game, Diddy, Kendrick Lamar and countless others have poured in. Nick Cannon took his tribute a step further with his promise to continue the work that Nip had started.

“And the Lord said, “Job well done my son. @nipseyhussle,” Cannon began the caption.

“King this is how I want to remember you! Laughing! Smiling! I ain’t slept yet, thinking about our conversations! Real ones from a real one! And I’m gonna say this only for the real ones to recognize. Where you left off, we gonna carry one! It’s a MARATHON, so I’m picking up the baton! Because they can’t kill us all.” Cannon continued.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Police Department shared details of the shooting suspect that Police Lt. Chris Ramirez described only as “a black male.”

Though multiple reports allege the shooting may have been gang-related, a slew of conspiracy theories surrounding the death of the Victory Lap rapper have since uprooted following the shooting.

Many have spoken since the rapper’s death to voice their suspicions he was killed because of his work to highlight Dr. Sebi’s medical accomplishments. Brother Polight, a widely known author and activist within the Hip Hop community, shared his thoughts to Instagram as well on Sunday.

“The sacrifice it takes, the fear you have to have, the real gangster in you to tell people about Dr. Sebi — you know you are risking your life when you tell people about Dr. Sebi man,” an emotional Polight started.

“That’s the man that cured me of my diabetes. You are risking your life when you tell people about Dr. Sebi. So what I see Nipsey Hussle do, what I seen him personally do was nothing shy of a miracle for him to have the platform he got and the willingness to tell the world about Dr. Sebi — a man that cured me of diabetes. It’s like I lost Tupac all over again,” Polight stammered on.

Cannon obviously agrees and believes something is not right. He posted several videos of Sebi to his Instagram page on Monday (April 1) with one of the video captions reading, “Can’t Kill Us ALL!!! #Fearless #Marathon#SpiritualWarfare.”

Sebi, who died in 2016 at age 82, claimed to have cured multiple patients of diseases such as AIDS, herpes and diabetes from strictly herbal based remedies.

      1. Do uk how many documentaries and studies are all over the internet on dr.sebi that u can google and youtube right this moment..shit aint groundbreaking he just wants to attach himself to this

      2. I’d respect him more if he continued Nipsey’s philanthropic work–not this conspiracy-theory bullshit, admiring a man who was a total quack, a liar, and someone died as a con man.

        1. It’s something he is already doing, philanthropic work. So I cannot see why you seem to be pissed about him continuing the documentary

    1. If that’s true then his murder was way more senseless than I thought… Never believed in the conspiracy theory that was just absurd.. RIP my favourite rapper

    2. You want to finish something, @NickCannon?

Finish Nipsey’s community work, philanthropic efforts, and encouraging young black people to get more connected to their American past and African roots.

Don’t put too much effort promoting that anti-science quack who died as a crook.

      1. He’s too busy doing super important ish like Wildin Out to finish Nipsey’s work.

      2. You people who thinks Dr sebi is a Quack are so sleep. Lol you’re the same ones injecting yourself with flu shots. Unknowingly or knowingly poisoning yourselves do some proper research before you discredit a man who believed in the natural way of living. Big pharmaceuticals profits off of you being sick so of course if anyone were to disturb that formula naturally unfortunate things could possibly occur You claim dr sebi ripped off people lol what the hell you think big pharamas been doing?? Wake the f up smh..it’s disappointing we have so much tools to properly do our own research but yet we still rely on industries that make billions off us but I do give you props for recognizing African roots which would enlighten you on the proper way to actually live.

    3. Sebi was not a Dr, but a herbalist, a charlatan, who just happened to be black. He ripped people off for charging $400-900 to cure AIDS, diabetes, lupus, cancer, all bullshit of course…but he did not possess a medical degree. He operated off the basis that white education was wrong, and that certain diets can cure disease….but they cannot. If multiple nations, who happened to be white, can correlate medical evidence-based practice towards certain diseases, then its frivilous to argue with science and data on the basis of not supporting or believing an educated individual from a certain background.

There is no conspiracy. A gang member shot Nipsey, not Big Pharma, haha.

    4. Sure you will, Nick. Sure you will.

But riddle me this: if Dr Sebi was busy curing people of AIDS since the 80’s, why would the “government” wait a whole 3 decades later to kill him in a foreign country?

    5. If Nick wanted to better the black community he could start by pulling Wild-N-Out, a show in which black people denigrate other black people for laughs, off the air.

    6. People kept telling me that Dr. Sebi’s case with the New York Supreme Court proved he cured all those diseases, but I looked it up and read the docket from the case and it definitely didn’t. The only reason he was acquitted was because there was never any proof he diagnosed anyone with it. In fact for a lot of those people there wasn’t proof they’d been diagnosed at all. It really seems like this guy was just a rip off artist. Think about it if he actually could cure all those diseases wouldn’t his “clinic” have cured at least hundreds in its hayday? Wouln’t his same methodology have been used to cure people to this day because he wasn’t the only one he explained his practice to? Wouldn’t at least one journalist with credibility looked into his claims and published a story about it over the past decades? What about the fact that his man said HIV isn’t a disease despite the fact that it is proven to be one? And his big “cure” was just eating natural food I’m sure people with disease never did that. Nipsey’s death is a tragedy, but stop all the conspiracies that don’t even hold up.

    7. Fu** if Cannon dies through this documentary,,,, I ain know C
Hard to c my real soldiers die for what’s right.

    8.
