Lawrence “Laroo” Dawson is no stranger to hard work, he signed his
first record deal shortly after high school and has gone on to direct
videos, form his own label, and sell a substantial amount of mixtapes.
Currently, Laroo is planning on releasing his latest album The Corporation on his mentor E-40‘s Sick Wid It Records.
Laroo
has already released three singles from the album, including “20
Bricks” featuring The Jacka, “Put Me On,” and “Money & Power”
featuring Keak Da Sneak.
The Corporation will be released on October 14.
In other news, lifestyle
magazine, Avenue Report will hold their Alumni Homecoming Tour this fall for alumni at selected colleges and universities; Q-Tip [click to read] will serve
as special guest on the tour.
Guests will be treated to a performance by Q-Tip along with complimentary Alize and gift bags.
The
tour will kick off this Saturday in Philadelphia for Temple University alumni, the tour will then move on to Washington D.C. (Howard
University) on October 18 and will finally end in Atlanta (Morehouse
College) on October 25.
