New Music Friday: New Singles From Sexyy Red, Lil Yachty & Veeze, DDG & DaBaby & More

New Music Friday is a diverse affair this week, with something for just about everybody across the wide spectrum that is Hip Hop in 2025.

Leading the lineup is Sexyy Red, who keeps her momentum alive with a predictably strip club-ready track, while Lil Yachty and Veeze continue their successful run of collaborations.

There is also crossover hit potential for BigXThaPlug‘s collab with rising country star Bailey Zimmerman, while DaBaby‘s recent apearance on DDG‘s “Hit-A-Thon” stream results in their first official song together.

Elsewhere, basketball player-turned-rapper Gelo (a.k.a LiAngelo Ball) attempts to prove that he is not a one hit wonder with his latest single, and Sauce Walka gets back to work with help from fellow Texan That Mexican OT following the recent shooting that killed his artist Sayso P.

This week’s batch of new releases is rounded out by the likes of G-Eazy, Russ, LUCKI, Boldy James and SiR.

Check out the best of New Music Friday below.

    Sexyy Red — “Hoochie Coochie”

    Produced By: Mac Fly

Sexyy Red is staking her claim for Song of the Summer early by releasing “Hoochie Coochie,” which is predictably raunchy and very much on brand for the St. Louis native.

Lil Yachty feat. Veeze — “Can’t Be Crete Boy”

    Produced By: ChildBoy & MitchGoneMad

A follow-up to their successful 2024 collab “Sorry Not Sorry,” “Can’t Be Crete Boy” has a very different vibe thanks to a beefed-up sample of Dipset‘s “I’m Ready.”

    DDG & DaBaby — “Motion”

Produced By: Einer Bankz & Sheffmade

Fresh off his star-studded seven-day streaming marathon, “Hit-A-Thon,” DDG looks to keep his “motion” alive by linking up with DaBaby for this braggadocious banger. The pair also cooked up two other songs (which have yet to hit DSPs) during the aforementioned stream: “New To Me” and “2 Phones.”

BigXThaPlug feat. Bailey Zimmerman — “All the Way”

Produced By: Bandplay & Charley Cooks

A curious combination of street rap and country, BigXThaPlug linking up with Bailey Zimmerman would not have been on many 2025 bingo cards, but let’s not forget that Big X hails from Texas. The result is surprisingly catchy.

Murda Beatz feat. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie & Hurricane Wisdom — “Winter’s Over”

Produced By: Dylan Hyde, Foreign Gotem & Tilt

The man behind beats such as Travis Scott’s “Butterfly Effect” and Migos’ “MotorSport” has recruited A Boogie With Da Hoodie and Hurricane Wisdom for his new single, which is a strangely subdued affair.

    LUCKI — “Free Mr. Banks”

Produced By: Brent Rambo & Markolenz

The veteran Chicago rapper spent years toiling away in the underground before unexpectedly breaking out during the pandemic. His latest offering “Free Mr. Banks” — a nod to the currently incarcerated Lil Durk — packs in the high-pitched horror movie synths which makes for a sinister anthem.

GELO (LiAngelo Ball) — “Law N Order”

    Produced By: ThomasMBeats & Rott

After his NBA career didn’t quite work out, LiAngelo Ball pivoted to rap and went viral with the breakout hit “Tweaker.” Following his recent “Can You Please” collab with GloRilla, the former G League star looks to put more numbers on the board with “Law N Order.”

    G-Eazy — “Fight & Fuck”

Produced By: Jesse Aicher, Rodaidh McDonald, Sam Martin & Eli Evnen

Sauce Walka & That Mexican OT — “Samsung Screenz”

    Produced By: Big Duke

    NoCap & Rob49 — “Fine Shit”

Produced By: Al’Geno & YPM Carter

    Russ — “April 7th”

Produced By: Russ, Oz, Ari PenSmith, Kiri Gerbs & Jake Jepson

Boldy James & V Don — “Mrs. Porter”

    Produced By: V Don

    SiR — “Lose It All”

Produced By: Ben10k, Christo & Nick Ferraro

Roy Woods — “Stay With Me”

    Produced By: Dimi & Carrie

    Aesop Rock — “Checkers”

    Produced By: Aesop Rock

    Duckwrth feat. IDK — “Pitbull”

    Produced By: Blk Odyssy

Azizi Gibson feat. DJ Paul & Robb Bank$ — “Up All Night”

Produced By: Azizi Gibson, DJ Paul & Owen Douglas Adams

Lou Phelps feat. GoldLink — “After I”

    Produced By: KAYTRANADA
