New FX Comedy To Be Loosely Based On GZA’s Life

Method Man’s forays into the world of Hollywood are nothing new, but it seems another Wu-Tang member is trying to get into the game.

Deadline.com reports that David Krumholtz is developing “Igotchaback,” a half-hour comedy for FX based loosely on the lives of GZA and his publicist Heathcliff Berru.

The project is described as centering on “an up-and-coming music industry manager tasked with representing an aging rap star mired knee-deep in existential crisis.”

Krumholtz is known for his work staring in “Numb3rs,” as well as the Harold & Kumar series.

    1. lol, this might be one of the few rap oriented Movies or Shows that actually isnt fuckin terrible, the premise sounds funny, hope they pull it off

      1. You do realize that underground hip hop fans don’t buy music? So gzas gotta do something to keep an income coming in.

      2. lol, end what career, I love GZA but Im sure the guy dont be making much money off you downloadin ass motherfuckers

go ahead andsuppleent the money these thieves cost you and do what you gotta do, cant pay the bills with internet props

    2. lol @ the typo in the headline, and @ how nobody’s noticed so far.

HipHopDX: By morons, for morons. And not “loosely” overstating it.

      1. And yet you’re still here and keep coming back. Grammar mistakes and misspellings aside, this site is better than allhiphop.com, the design is cleaner (AHH really needs to update thier shit) and easier to navigate plus it has less spam. DX also has a > audio/video/mixtape section.

      2. I’ve been comming to this website for over 10 years & I’ll tell you one thing it’s not to strengthen my reading skills…. it’s for news on one thing we all love, Hip-Hop. But listen, you act like their typing in pig-latin. Big deal they forget to drop the “e” they’ll pick it up next time. You act as if you’ve been turned down for a job here. Take it easy.

    3. FX used to have the bar set pretty high, but this sounds a little short on talent. No offense to the Robert Deniro “ish” acting abilities of GZA.
