NBA YoungBoy may be out of prison but that does not mean he’s stopped being involved in controversy.

The rapper has returned to his Utah mansion and according to a report from local news outlet KUTV has brought significant armed security with him.

The publication claims that his mansion is surrounded by armed guards dressed all in black and wearing ski masks.

One neighbor alleges that security have stopped various neighbors as they pass the gate to his house, despite it being a public space: “I was stopped by two guys with bullet proof vests – security, dressed all in black and one of them had an AK strapped to his chest. It introduces this level of anxiety.”

She continued that she was not aware that the rapper had been released from prison and planned to bake him some cookies.

“I didn’t know that Kentrell is back, so I think I’m going to bake him some cookies and bring them over there because we had such a nice chat when his dog attacked my dog. He’s a very sweet kid. I mean, he’s really young. You know, this is a very young person. Very kind — he called me ‘ma’am.’”

Police have said that the security have the correct permits to guard the property.

He later pleaded guilty to those charges — which included identity fraud, forgery and unlawful pharmacy conduct — and avoided jail time, instead being ordered to pay a $25,000 fine.

The judge decided against imposing a prison sentence as YoungBoy had already been sentenced to 27 months behind bars as part of a separate plea deal in his gun case, which dated back to 2020.

He was originally supposed to be released in July but his sentenced was cut short twice by the authorities without any reason being made public.

As per his release conditions, YoungBoy has a 30 day curfew where he has to stay in the same location.
