The Legendary Roots crew announced their 4th annual Roots Picnic this summer. This years event will take place at Philadelphia’s Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing on Saturday, June 4th.
This year will feature Nas (backed by The Roots), Wiz Khalifa, Esperanza Spalding (backed by The Roots), Ariel Pink, Man Man, The Dismemberment Plan, Mac Miller, Yelawolf, Little Dragon, J. Period, Nicos Gun & Donn T, and of course, The Roots.
The event is curated entirely by Hip Hop’s premier band, the all day festival features multiple stages and “eclectic collaborations and the latest and greatest of what music has to offer.” Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 4 at 10am and will be available at LiveNation.com, Live Nation Box Office (111 Presidential Blvd, Bala Cynwyd), Festival Pier (Columbus Blvd & Spring Garden St, Phila / day-of-show only) or by-phone at 800-745-3000.

mac miller is straight..kid is like fresh out of high school..keeps it in line and doesn’t step out of his reality. Has decent substance, give him a cpl years to tighten that game
