Nas & Sprite Sponsor Third-Annual “World Is Yours” Camp

Nas is sponsoring a camping trip and vacation to Washington, DC called “The World is Yours” for children from Queensbridge Housing, the same projects in which he grew up.

The rapper shared the flyer on Instagram today (July 10). It features photos of kids eating and playing in the water on one side and images of Kings Dominion theme park and national monuments on the other. He thanks Sprite as one of the people who made the event happen.

“Sending much love, wishing safe travels, and hope,” Nas writes in the caption, “you have an Educational and FUN trip to the QB kids at the 3rd Annual “The World is Yours” camping trip!!”

He also posts a picture of a group of kids in front of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in Washington, DC.

    1. Not trying to diss, but has Nas picked up any NEW fans in the last decade? I feel like only old heads keep him propped up as relevant. Whatever, his flow’s okay but sounds a bit outdated.

      1. @Anonymous, you must be new to this. It’s alright, keep listening to music, any music, and you’ll get a feel for it after a while. After you’ve listened for enough years, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

      2. So, you’re saying he should flow the same way these new rappers are? Nas perfected his flow, why should he change it? And music is my life, believe me.

      3. I thought you were just trying to troll, but I see and respect that you’re not. I’m not saying he should dismiss his own flow, but I don’t think it would hurt to maybe expand his delivery as well. Music is an evolution, it would be nice to see someone of his stature display that he could do both older and newer. Is that so bad?

    2. Those children more than likely don’t even know who this broke loser is, let alone name a song by him, yet they’ll be quick to name a Hov song in a heartbeat.

      1. If that were the case, they wouldn’t have participated in this event. And if Nas were broke, he wouldn’t be doing this event, either. Think before you post hate.

      2. Very sure if you were a child, you would be more interested in going camping and to Washington DC instead of Nas himself. And Nas has to ask someone to loan money to him to he can do these types of things since Kelis is still sucking him dry.

      3. Yet you can’t prove any of the lies you speak. You’re a bum with a crabs in the bucket mentality, always tearing a brother down when he does something positive for the community.

    3. Africa loves Nas,Much respect to you dawg, outhere in the Congo we bang ur shit,we love it when u go gangster and diss all these wack rappers, these new rappers think they gangsters shit..nigga we gat rebels outhere in cango, niggas who are ready to spray ur ass with an Ak ma nigga prrrrrrrpapapapa

      1. Yawn, what makes a white boy like you think you’re a broke African fighting for scraps of dirt and twigs? They’re so broke, they throw spent shell casings at one another. And you think that’s cool? If you say so. You’re still nothing but a white boy that turns down the volume on his head phones when a black person walks past you so he doesn’t hear you listening to Chief Keef.
