Nas Responds To Jay-Z

In case you didn’t read about it last week, it goes like this; Jay-Z was on Hot 97 and he proposed that he and Nas do battle once again. This time on pay per view with a million prize going to the victor. Each of them throw in some cash, do a few songs, then have a three round freestyle battle. Sounded like a good idea to me.

Apparently not. Nas has declined to participate in such an event. He told MTV that “Pay per view is for wrestlers and boxers. I make records. If Jay-Z wants to battle, he should drop his album the same day I do and let the people decide.” Nas then said that he will be dropping his sixth album, “God’s Son,” on November 19th. Jay’s album, “The Blueprint 2: The Gift and the Curse,” is due out on November 5th.

It is strange that Nas would say that (letting the people decide, obviously referring to sales) because he has never out-sold Jay-Z before. Besides, we all know that sales don’t mean shit in terms of quality.

    1. It was written outsold reasonable doubt and in my lifetime volume 1, so idk wtf ur talking about or who ur getting to write these articles lmfao. It was written sold what, 275,000 first week ? Reasonable doubt sold 45,000 about and in my lifetime volume one had roughly 140,000. It wasnt till lifetime volume 2 jay beat those numbers. Also nas debuted number 1 on the billboards before jay-z, in 1996, jay didnt get that till volume 2 in 98. So do ur homework
