Nas has released a stylish new music video for his King’s Disease III track “30” — check out the Sarah McColgan-directed visual below.

Released on Wednesday (March 1), the video sees Nas tapping into his avant-garde side with stunning black-and-white visuals. The clip opens with several random shots, including a cloudy sky, Nas wearing his Queensbridge diamond chain and more, before the rap legend kicks off his opening verse.

Scenes of Esco rapping in a room wearing different outfits, a group of people wearing balaclavas turning up, flaming doors and more adds to the video’s stunning artistic direction.

“30” is the second track from Nas’ latest album to get a video, following “Michael & Quincy,” which was released last November. King’s Disease III debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 with 29,000 album-equivalent units, giving Nas his 16th Top 10 album, a record he now shares with JAY-Z.

Nas is also fresh off his first headlining show at Madison Square Garden in New York City. In November 2022, Nas announced plans to perform his King’s Disease trilogy during the special one-night-only performance at MSG.

However, what he also delivered to fans was a set full of hits from his entire discography. The sold-out crowd was treated to live renditions of Nas’ greatest hits, including “The World Is Yours,” “Made You Look,” and “If I Ruled the World”; as well as album cuts such as “Get Down” and guest verses like his contribution to Missy Elliott’s “Hot Boyz.”

The 34-song set also featured songs from each of the King’s Disease albums, including “27 Summers,” “Spicy,” and “Michael & Quincy.”

To top off the history-making moment in his career, Nas brought out Mary J. Blige, Slick Rick and AZ to perform “Reminisce,” “Hey Young World,” and “Life’s A Bitch” respectively.

From there, Nas and Wu-Tang will hit up several U.S. cities. Most notably, the tour will make its way to Brooklyn, New York, on September 27, which is a delight for fans in the Big Apple as many complained that Nas and the Wu didn’t perform in their hometown on the first leg last year.
