Mysonne clearly has no plans to quell his longstanding issues with Troy Ave as he’s dropped a new diss song aimed at the Brooklyn rhymer.
On a new track titled “Rolland ( Troy Ave) It ain’t All About The Money” released on Friday (April 14), Mysonne fires off some scathing bars over the beat to Troy Ave’s 2015 single “All About The Money.”

“For you, it’s all about the money my n-gga/ Keep making jokes – I guess this shit is funny my n-gga,” Mysonne raps. “But you got your man killed, got shot how many times?/ You don’t see how your karma keep coming, my n-gga?”

The track arrives just days after Troy Ave retooled his 2021 track “Money Dance 1-2-3” as a diss record aimed at Maino, Taxstone, Joe Budden, Mysonne and a number of others.
While lyrically he doesn’t name any names, Troy Ave noted in the YouTube title that it’s a “Taxstone, China Mac, Joe Budden, DJ Vlad, Maino Chaino & Mysonne diss record.” The reworked “diss” title is linked to the drama surrounding the death of Troy Ave’s bodyguard Banga (real name Ronald McPhatter). Taxstone was found guilty of shooting and killing McPhatter last month.

Troy Ave and Mysonne’s longstanding beef is also connected to the shooting that cost Banga’s life. Banga’s brother, Trife Gangsta (real name Shanduke McPhatter), confirmed that Troy Ave’s refusal to hold the proverbial bag for Mysonne sparked the beef in the first place.
The two have been publicly at odds since 2017 when Troy made comments on The Breakfast Club comparing himself to 2Pac following the shooting. Mysonne took to Instagram to proudly proclaim Troy a “bozo” for even suggesting he was close to ‘Pac.
“I wouldn’t be who I am if I didn’t come out and say Troy Ave is a fucking bozo,” he said in a video.
He later wrote: “I’m just tired of the Bullshit, Us Real niggas trying to get out the Streets and these clowns trying to stay in Em. I’m sorry but I can’t peacefully co-exist with Suckers. Stop making clowns Famous ..Ronald McDonald is enough.. #IworkForThePeople#ImRealInRealLife #ImNotUsedToThis #R.I.P.Banga.”

Both men eventually released diss tracks. Troy shared “Press Spray” referring to Mysonne as a “dweeb” and Mysonne responded back with “Discipline,” which said the only thing his rival had in common with 2Pac was the fact they were both shot.
