Murs To Work With Ne-Yo, Snoop & Preemo?

Luckyiam has a new album, Most Likely to Succeed, in stores. The man behind the LP gave HipHopDX some exclusive news on many things. He spoke on a new Atmosphere album, his own LP, an Atmosphere tour and upcoming Living Legends projects. He even shared information on Murs‘ upcoming major label debut on Warner.

Most Likely to Succeed finds Lucky at his most personal, battling issues ranging from family drama to self improvement.

“I have too much real shit to talk about,” he told HipHopDX of the album’s lyrical content. “No need to just rap about rapping or how fresh I am.”

Currently, he’s rolling along with Rock the Bells and Paid Dues, but that is not where the touring stops. Lucky is back on the road next month, along with a few Rhymesayers.

“I get back out on the road September 14th…I’m on the Atmosphere ‘Everybody Loves a Clown’ tour with Mac Lethal & Grayskul,” he added.

The tour will go from September 14 to October 16. After a week off, the crew is back on the road for the second leg of Everybody Loves a Clown. That will last from October 22 to November 10. “Then I’m going to Europe solo a week after,” he noted.

“Yes, I’ve heard the new Atmos. It’s really dope to me. I think it will silence recent critics,” he said, speaking of people who claim Atmosphere‘s early work is superior to their latest album.

Later, he also spoke on the new Murs album, which he believes may hit stores in the Fall. When asked about who would be on it, he gave us the exclusive.

“I heard rumors,” he said of his Legendary group mate. “Gym Class Heroes, Snoop, Ne-Yo, Premo, Kid Rock…Murs is going big,” he added.

Lucky also went on to note that The Grouch is wrapping up his next solo project.
