There was a shooting today (June 1) on the campus of UCLA and two men were found dead at the school’s engineering building. LAPD deemed the incident that reportedly happened shortly before 10 a.m. PST a murder-suicide, according to KTLA.
Law enforcement reportedly recovered a gun and a potential suicide note at the scene.
The campus was put on lockdown and students were alerted of the shooting via the school’s security alert system.
The lockdown was lifted this afternoon. Classes have been cancelled for today, but are expected to resume tomorrow (Thursday).
Snoop Dogg’s son, Cordell Broadus, is a student at UCLA and is reportedly rejoining the football team this spring. The Long Beach legend took to Twitter and Instagram to ask for prayers for the school.
