The MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) 2014 nominations have been announced, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Beyonce leads all nominations with eight. Her nominations come from selections such as “Drunk In Love,” “Partition,” and “Pretty Hurts.”
Eminem and Iggy Azalea follow Beyonce with seven nominations each.
The Hip Hop Video Of The Year category pits Eminem’s “Berzerk” against Drake and Majid Jordan’s “Hold On (We’re Going Home),” Childish Gambino’s “3005,” Kanye West’s “Black Skinhead,” and Wiz Khalifa’s “We Dem Boyz.”
The VMAs are set to air August 24 from Inglewood, California’s Forum.
Usher, Ariana Grande and 5 Seconds of Summer are the scheduled performers for the event, though additional acts could be named at a later date.
