Montana of 300 is apparently so confident in his lyrical skills, he’s willing to put upwards of half a million dollars on the line. On Wednesday (May 20), the Chi-Town rapper jumped on Instagram and said he’d give any rapper from Chicago between $100,000 and $500,000 to battle him.
“I got anywhere from $100K-500K against any Chicago rapper,” he wrote. “Mf’s flexing with that loan from their labels like it’s theirs, tryna trick dz young fans who don’t know the business. They own label wouldn’t even take that bet n put that bread behind them. Self made. Check my net worth.”
Montana went into further detail in the caption, insisting he was one of the few rappers in the industry who would ever make this kind of offer.
“I’m a grown ass man,” he wrote. “Never depended on no man, no street nigga, no famous rapper or no white rich man in the industry to save me, vouch for me or put me in position to change my life. I got real money in diff cities way b4 a lotta niggas was even rapping…real street money. Anybody and Everybody can run their mouth in a comment box, but not everybody is willing to put their money where their mouth is.
“So all that talk I been hearing is cheap as fuck n holds no value. Y’all tell y’all favorite Chicago rapper to put up the bread and watch they ass ignore the fuck outta y’all and get quiet. They know what’s up. N they ain’t tryna see the RapGod on some rap shit n take that kinda loss. I been a problem. That’s why they act stupid they don’t know me, but my opinion bothers them when they don’t get mentioned by me. Let’s set this shit up n get it cracking tho!”
Earlier this week, King Von questioned why 300 was even in Montana’s name after Montana claimed Young Pappy and Polo G are two of the better Chicago rappers.
Von replied, “I still don’t kno why 300 in yo name. Which part of Chicago you even from. I was locked up wen u was dropping shit I guess. I never heard none of yo shit.”
Montana fired back with, “For years, I heard rappers ask me shit over the internet while out of arms reach. If any Chicago rapper wants 2 meet in person n lock themselves in a room w/ me 2 ask whatever they’re curious 2 know about me, it can be arranged. If u ain’t tryna meet like men, don’t tweet me shit.”
He added, “Im the best rapper out of Chicago ever + the industry period. Nobody can match me. Mfs better off finding a better beat than mine…cuz as far as rap, it’s a wrap. N I’ll kill whoever on their own shit too n y’all know that. N these crackers don’t own me or my music.”
Lupe or common please take him up on his offer
Co-sign. And I could see Lupe doing it too.
Common would whip this niggas ass!..
This fools one of them cats that surrounded by yes’ men, oops I meant ‘yes’ boys
Kendrick the supposed rap King is still ducking Lupe for a reason, what makes this fool think he’s better than him.
He’s not a bad rapper, absolutely not. But the best from Chicago? No.
kendrick is not from chicago thoe.
A grown ass man…. Who talks like a tough little toddler
To me Lupe is one of the GOATS and will bite this pigeons head off….easy work….but this generation is so dumb and ignorant that I see the younger folks claiming Montana won even if it’s a clear K.O
Young pappy died in 2015 so obviously he can’t out his money up against him……

This guy just tryin to get his name in everyone’s mouth. All a stunt.
Bro, you are not from Chicago. You are from Peoria stop it and worry about your own city
Lupe Fiasco has entered the chat….
Lupe Fiasco and Common Sense would make this clown $500k poorer without even trying…
Lupe Fiasco please come and take this man’s money, please!!!
Don’t know his music but for $500k, Chicago rappers should be steppin up taking the offer. Plenty of them racked with money.
Montana go hard af I think he was talking to certain Chicago rappers without saying names
I don’t think he taking shots at people like Lupe or Common tho seeing 1 of them battles a be a good 1. He talking about them shorties. Montana know he a beast. I fuck with his music ?. BTW NIGGAS DON’T SAY THEY FROM THE PC’S IF THE NOT
I mean damn, why just Chicago? I mean if you’re lyrically THAT confident open the bracket up Montana.
After listening to his record ‘Busta Rhymes’ I could tell this kid means business. Great bars, lyrical content, beat and delivery. You’re in it to win it Montana of 300.
