Moneybagg Yo has revealed more details of his new album Speak Now, teasing guest features from Chris Brown and Lil Durk, among other tidbits.

The Memphis spitter took to Instagram Stories on Friday (June 7) and offered praise for his fellow Hip Hop icons.

He said: “Shout out to my dogs CB for the vocals they in. Speak Now, June 14, n-ggas Friday tune in. It’s a movie you won’t wanna miss. Let’s go!”

In an Instagram post from Saturday (June 8), Moneybagg shared an interaction he had with Durk regarding his feature on the album.

The “Run It Up” rapper shared his text message conversation with the Chicago spitter and captioned the post: “Dat N-gga @lildurk Sent Me A Verse Back In Less Than 20 mins Of Me Sending It To Em Da Night Before I Had To Turn My Project In And Its 1 of Dem Classic Day 1 Smurk Verses [four fire emojis, four yelling emojis]. #SPEAKNOW JUNE 14th [eyes emoji, grimacing emoji].”

Speak Now isn’t the only new music coming from Moneybagg in 2024.

Earlier this month, the Memphis native took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared an update regarding his next two projects, the second of which will cater to a specific audience.

Back in May, the 32-year-old rapper revealed that he finally secured the missing piece for Speak Now.

The Tennessee hitmaker took to social media and wrote: Just Got A Crazyyyyy Feature In I Couldn’t Drop This Project Without Now Everything Locked In Fasho sho Its Worth Da Wait (looking emoji, lock emoji, fire emoji.” Perhaps this post is in reference to the recently teased Durk verse.

Prior to that, he unveiled the record’s covert art and wrote: “To Every Action There’s A Reaction, Timing Is Everything And Information Is Power Im In Raw Form Aint No Cut On This Shit This For My Day 1 Core Fan Base The Ones Who Was There Since The Beginning !!”

Speak Now will serve as the “Bussin” hitmaker’s fifth studio album following 2021’s A Gangsta’s Pain as well as his first full-length release since last year’s Hard To Love mixtape.
