Mixtape Release Dates: Lil’ Kim, Action Bronson, Master P, Jonwayne

Mixtape release date news sees some new announcements this week from both veteran and newer artists.

Lil’ Kim is returning to the lab to release her first project in nearly a decade. Kim connected the mixtape to her 1996 solo debut, Hardcore. While there is no release date for the tape just yet, Lil’ Kim took to Twitter to announce that the project would be called Hardcore 2K13: Back 2 Da Streets. She also released the cover art to the project as well.

Action Bronson announced that his is infact working on another full project with the same producer as he and Party Supplies will team up for Blue Chips 2. While no release date is yet set in stone, the Queens native said he’s thinking “end of August, September. But probably closer to September for it to drop.”

Master P has released the cover art for his next mixtape. Famous Again has no release date yet but will be his first release in a long time.

Stones Throw’s Jonwayne will release a mixtape, Tuesday. The Marion Morrison Mixtape features Captain Murphy, Jeremiah Jae, Zeroh and Oliver the 2nd and is available for free download. Jonwayne recently released the track “Altitude” in preparation for the album’s release.

Phil Ade will release his highly anticipated mixtape, R.O.S.E., Tuesday. Pete Rock and Camp Lo will release the follow up to their first edition of 80 Blocks From Tiffany’s with 80 Blocks From Tiffany’s Pt. 2.
