Millyz has flipped Eminem’s legendary song “Stan” on a new song and saluted Slim Shady for clearing the sample.

The Massachusetts rapper took to Instagram to give fans a first listen of the forthcoming song, which finds him crooning over “Stan’s” signature melody.

“OMG WE CLEARED THE ‘STAN SAMPLE!!! DROPPIN 3/9 SALUTE TO THE *goat emoji*” Millyz wrote on Instagram.

He added in the comments section: “I shot a video to it just to put on YouTube, never thought we’d get it cleared! Anything’s possible!! BLANCO 6 4/7/23,” referencing the release date of his next album.

Blanco 6 will arrive after Millyz dropped off Blanco 5 last year, which featured appearances from Mozzy and Fivio Foreign, among others.

Millyz isn’t the only rapper set on remixing Eminem’s 2000 smash hit, which appeared on his diamond-selling album, The Marshall Mathers LP. Swae Lee also toyed around with the song’s hook on Instagram Live, and fans were begging the Rae Sremmurd rapper to drop his own version.

The original “Stan” pulled its hook from the British singer Dido’s “Thank You.” Dido was actually featured in the song’s accompanying music video, which has accumulated over 600 million views on YouTube.

However, Dido told the New York Daily News in 2013 that she has a hard time watching herself in the video.

“That wasn’t my finest moment,” she said of her toilet cameo in “Stan’s” opening scene. “Every time I watch that video, the beginning bit properly makes me giggle.”

he continued: “I remember sitting on the loo on the set with Eminem and Dr. Dre there and thinking: ‘How surreal can life get?’ It’s quite hard to sit on the loo without wanting to go to the loo. It wasn’t my sexiest moment.”

Millyz’s love of Eminem, meanwhile, goes deeper than sampling “Stan.” In an interview with VladTV last August, the inked-up rapper said all he wants is for the Detroit rap icon to hear his music.

“Eminem, Slim Shady, Marshall Mathers. Number one, two and three, for sure,” he said. “I’m a student of Em. That’s one of the things in my career I’m waiting on whether it comes or not. I want that co-sign. I just want to know he watches my shit.”
