Mike Dean has been spotted with Travis Scott’s elusiveUtopia briefcase and the producer finally cracked open the secretive luggage.

Dean posted a photo to Instagram on Sunday (June 4) posing with the briefcase open but only for his eyes to see what’s inside and not fans.

“What’s in the case ? #musicforthefuture,” Mike Dean captioned the post.

Fans speculated what could be inside while others predicted that the wait for the long-anticipated album will be over soon.

“If he opening it, that means Utopia dropping this month. End of this month,” one person wrote in the comments.

Epic Records CEO Sylvia Rhone previously added to the excitement by revealing in an interview with Billboard that Scott’s fourth solo LP will finally be out later this month.

“We have a new Travis Scott record, expected to come in June,” she said earlier this year.

Scott brought the brown briefcase inscribed with the album title to the Cannes Film Festival in May and then the Utopia luggage was spotted in the hands of The Weeknd in France at The Idol‘s premiere, which led fans to believe that Abel will be appearing on the project.

La Flame has been tight-lipped when it comes to the album but he opened up about the sound of Utopia when he sat down with PIN-UP magazine in May.

“I made most of my new album on an MPC,” he said. “I got new ones; I got some old ones. My favorite is the 2000XL. It produces a very distinctive sound that makes it feel alive.”

Scott also hit on his definition of Utopia and how it’s not all about living the perfect and most lavish life. “Utopia is something that people feel is so far-fetched and out of reach, some perfect state of mind. But you create it yourself,” he explained.

“There are people who achieve utopia every day. They may not be the richest people with the dopest cribs, but it’s a utopia wherever they are, and that’s the most you can have.”

The album appears to be about finished and in the mastering stages — which Mike Dean will almost certainly be involved in — as Trav played Utopia for the Houston Astros team prior to a game last month.
