Method Man Blasts the Media

As we reported earlier in the week, Method Man isn’t so happy with the media. After being dissed by members of the media, he decided to fire-back to let people know he’s still got fire. However, he also has something to say to anyone questioning his loyalty or his honor.
Johnny Blaze recently spoke up about this during an MTV interview where he opened up about The Wu after an article about Ghostface deemed him a former member of the crew.

“I love Ghost, that’s my ni–a — we all from the same area — but I hate that they sh-t on us and big him up like that…That’s a form of separation right there. Me being a man first, a man with a family, it’s like, yo, if you gonna interview my brother, interview my brother. But don’t put my name in there and try to single me out while you bigging him up. I feel that’s, like, a straight-out shot at me,” he said before clearing up any misconceptions.

“We block n—as. We ain’t Mariah Carey or ‘NSYNC where a mother—— say what they want about us and we only see them on the red carpet. N—as is from the ‘hood. I seen n—as get shot for talking about people’s mamas. I’m coming from that. Any form of disrespect is questioning my livelihood. I’ll strangle your ass,” he continued.

Meth will get more off his chest on his new album 4:21…The Day After which is scheduled for a late July release.

Currently, several other members are working on solo projects and no group album has been scheduled as of press time.

Aside from the very publicized Built For Cuban Linx 2, RZA & GZA are rumored to be teaming up with rockers System of a Down for a collaborative project.

Meth and the rest of the Wu will be performing at this year’s Rock the Bells Festival, which also features Murs, De La Soul, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and many more.

The Wu recently hit up the Hot 97 Summer Jam stage to perform together in front of a New York crowd.
