Melyssa Ford has laughed off the idea that Karrine “Superhead” Steffans should have appeared in Gunna‘s “Bachelor” video, which famously features iconic Hip Hop video vixens.

The discussion about the various models happened on the most recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, which dropped on Sunday (January 21). As the men on the panel weighed in on Steffans’ snub from the video, Ford appeared visibly disgusted.

“What? Name a video that you know of her in,” she said. “And a lot of us had a really big problem with that fucking book title [Confessions of a Video Vixen]. Really, really big problem. Okay, no hate, no shade: when you think about her, do you think about her being one of the most prolific in terms of recognizable?”

She continued: “Like, where you can automatically say, ‘I know her from this, I know her from that, because she was the starring role’? No, you can’t really say that, because that wasn’t…She wasn’t me, she wasn’t Buffy, she wasn’t Esther, she wasn’t Rosa.”

After the men rattled off Steffans’ list of credits, Melyssa Ford once again got furious with the idea, reminding them that she was “Melyssa Fucking Ford.”

“‘Hey Papi’ had like 50 fucking girls in it, okay?” she concluded. “And the majority of the shots was literally body shots, heads cut off. So there’s that. And ‘Hey Papi’ comes after ‘Big Pimpin’,’ so I’m already here, and I’m Melyssa Fucking Ford. I’m not a girl’s girl to everybody, fuck that shit. Okay? Maybe [it’s a little hate]. I’ll back it up.”

For all that the co-host of The Joe Budden Podcast was “Melyssa Fucking Ford,” she also got snubbed for the “Bachelor” video, which Gunna and Turbo dropped on January 18.

“Bachelor” debuted at No. 40 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart last year. The pair previously joined forces on six of the 15 songs from the album Gift & a Curse.

Directed by Spike Jordan, the video features an all-star lineup of well-known video vixens including Rosa Acosta, Tammy Torres, Esther Baxter, and Bria Myles, whose work and careers made them some of the most in-demand urban models of the mid- to late 2000s.

Also featured in the “Bachelor” clip are KD Aubert, known for her turn in Fabolous‘ “So Into You”; Eboni Jackson (“Wanksta” by 50 Cent), LaNisha Cole (“Frontin” by Pharrell), and Sasha Lee (“Play” by David Banner).

As for Melyssa Ford, she recently made headlines when she and Cam’ron engaged in a back-and-forth, which kicked off when Cam told a story about him and Ma$e taking a particularly wild trip to a brothel back in the ’90s, which Ford took issue with during an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast last month.

“Is there a distinct possibility that there may have been underage girls in that whorehouse?” she asked, to which the Slaughterhouse MC responded: “I don’t know what you’re doing, but it’s disgusting what you’re doing.”

This was tame in comparison to the NYC rapper’s reaction, who fired back by threatening to have her deported back to her native country of Canada by saying: “Tread lightly. Be careful ’cause I’ll tell you one thing: I know a lot of people at ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement]. I’ll have you escorted back up across the border.”

Ford subsequently issued Cam’ron an apology, though he still wasn’t having it.

“First of all, I only like older bitches. Second of all, it was 1992 — we were underage! I just turned muthafucking 16,” he clarified. “You can’t just say shit like that and two days later be like, ‘Oh, my bad. I wasn’t thinking.’ You damn right you wasn’t thinking! Why say that in the beginning? You not even from here! You not even from this country!

“I could’ve went straight to Ice-T fucked you in the bathroom for $2,000 when you was doing waitressing. I didn’t even go there! You used to fuck in the bathroom at the Kit Kat Club or one of them old-ass clubs. Stop, you a video vixen!”

He added: “I was gonna leave it alone, but then she said sorry. But the sorry wasn’t even genuine — that shit was fake.

“I don’t even know who convinced her to do this shit, but whoever did, that was smart because now if I sue n-ggas for defamation of character, I’m a sucker, right?
