Gunna and Turbo have delivered the delayed the visuals for a collaborative single they released in 2023, and it features some of the culture’s most revered models.
On Thursday (January 18), the rapper–producer duo dropped the music video for “Bachelor,” which debuted at No. 40 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart last year. The pair previously joined forces on six of the 15 songs from the album Gift & a Curse.

As the Georgia native waxes poetic about the life of bachelor juggling “too manyflavors/all sitting pretty,” the clip finds him surrounded by some of Hip Hop’s most recognizable faces.
Directed by Spike Jordan, the video features an all-star lineup of well-known video vixens including Rosa Acosta, Tammy Torres, Esther Baxter and Bria Myles, whose work and careers made them some of the most in-demand urban models of the mid- to late 2000s.

Also featured in the “Bachelor” clip are KD Aubert, known for her turn in Fabolous‘ “So Into You”; Eboni Jackson (“Wanksta” by 50 Cent), LaNisha Cole (“Frontin” by Pharrell), and Sasha Lee (“Play” by David Banner).

Gunna has enjoyed a great deal of success since his release from police custody last year while navigating past snitching allegations for the plea deal he took in the ongoing YSL RICO case.
Just last week, 21 Savage became the latest rapper to apparently take a shot at him on a track from his new album, American Dream.

On the song “letter to my brudda,” which is dedicated to the currently incarcerated Young Thug, 21 seemingly explains his issues with the 30-year-old, who has been accused of throwing his labelmate under the bus.
He raps: “Once you cross that line, it ain’t no tryin’ to fix it/ You want me to forgive you, let’s be realistic/ I can’t kick it with your kind like I tore my meniscus/ How you go from co-defendant to a fuckin’ witness?”
Despite the detractors, Gunna had the biggest comeback of 2023 and he has shown no sign of slowing down moving into the new year.
Loaded with infectious, hard-hitting anthems and a defiant edge that’s reflected in its lack of guest features, his third album Gift & a Curse peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart while its platinum-certified single “Fukumean” cracked the Top 5 on the Hot 100 chart, becoming one of the biggest (and unlikeliest) rap hits of 2023.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certification for the song arrived in October, just as the album was certified gold. Released on June 16 when the album dropped, the song sold over one million album-equivalent units in under four months.
