Megan Thee Stallion Celebrates Women’s History Month With VP Kamala Harris In D.C.

Megan Thee Stallion has celebrated Women’s History Month with Vice President Kamala Harris at her Washington D.C. residence.

Meg was invited to the event alongside other women trailblazers including Lori Harvey and Bridgerton actress Simone Ashley. The gathering, which was presided over by the VP, served as an opportunity to discuss the economic empowerment of women and focused on paid family leave as an investment in the future.

The 28-year-old rap star flexed her fit on Instagram, showcasing a classic black and blue floral sweater and a matching skirt.

The event marks yet another public appearance Meg has made since emerging victorious in her shooting trial against Tory Lanez last year.

Lanez was found guilty on all counts of shooting Meg in the feet during a drunken dispute in July 2020 following a high-profile two-week trial in Los Angeles in December. The Sorry 4 What rapper faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison, as well as subsequent deportation to his native Canada.

As Lanez continues to push to overturn his convictions, Megan Thee Stallion was previously spotted out and about celebrating Valentine’s Day with her boyfriend Pardison Fontaine on February 14, before attending a surprise party for her 28th birthday on February 15.

The “WAP” rapper’s celebrations come as apologies continue to pour in from her Hip Hop contemporaries, who accused her of lying about Tory Lanez shooting her prior to the trial. Math Hoffa was the latest to issue an official apology to Meg, and admitted it was wrong to jump to conclusions.

“I want to apologize to Megan, too, because I saw 50 [Cent] put out an apology,” Hoffa said in a recent interview with Drink Champs. “We didn’t believe her, we did not believe her, bro, we didn’t believe her. She definitely needed more people. Well, she didn’t really need more people.

“I want to publicly apologize to Megan because as Black men we’re supposed to protect our women and I feel like I failed in that category as far as the things that I said on our podcast…I’m sorry for what you went through. I’m sorry for that coming from a Black man and yeah I apologize.”

“I think with both of them I hope they find better places in their lives because we’ve seen other artists go through shit,” Hoffa added, comparing the situation to Chris Brown beating Rihanna in 2009. “We do need to do more about us just misusing each other.”

    1. Kamala was so unpopular in the primaries that she only won 1% or so of the votes, and lost her own state, Cali, in dead last (I guess she has a history there of over prosecuting low level crimes, despite claiming she favors the opposite). Point is, Joe only picked her because she brown and female. Kamala even claims “I always grew up with Kawnza”… lies. In her old books, she clearly celebrate Christmas, and celebrated mainly her Indian heritage.

    2. Two women who dont even know what a woman is. One with a cock and another that her husband cheated on her with an 80 year old lady.
