Bringing her A game in front of a packed crowd at an outdoor venue, Megan performed tracks off her latest album Traumazine, including “Pressurelicious,” “Freak Nasty” and “Simon Says.”

Unfortunately for Megan, her performance was more of a consolation prize than a victory lap as her hometown Texans lost 29-17 to the red-hot Eagles, who remain the only unbeaten team in the NFL this season with an 8-0 record.

Megan Thee Stallion’s performance came courtesy of 2 Chainz’snew Amazon Music Live concert series, which coincides with Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football coverage.

The show finds some of the biggest names in music treating fans to live performances of their latest material, while also being interviewed by 2 Chainz. Lil Baby kicked things off last week.

In her pre-concert chat with the Atlanta rapper, Megan spoke about her love for her fanbase, the Hotties, her Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Super Bowl LVI commercial, and naming her foundation after her late parents, Joseph Pete and Holly Thomas.

“All my life I watched my mom and my dad be hustlers and give money and be generous, so I just wanted to name my foundation after them and honor my late parents, and give back how I’ve always seen my family do,” she said of the Pete & Thomas Foundation, which she launched in February.

Megan Thee Stallion continued to give back in September when she launched Bad Bitches Have Bad Days Too, a website that offers mental health resources to her fans.

The website — named after a line from her Traumazine song “Anxiety” — provides contact information and resources for organizations offering three therapy and mental health hotlines specifically within the Black and LGBTQ+ communities.
