Earlier this year, DJ Drama sparked debate claiming that Lil Uzi Vert’s “Just Wanna Rock” overtook Meek’s “Dreams & Nightmares” as the official Philly anthem.

Uzi walked out the Philadelphia Eagles during their NFC Championship game with “Just Wanna Rock” playing through the speakers, which led to Drama’s comments.

“I think it’s fair to say that ‘Just Wanna Rock’ has replaced — with all due respect — ‘Dreams & Nightmares’ as the new anthem of Philadelphia, as the new anthem of the Philadelphia Eagles this year,” he told TMZ. “I’m looking forward to hearing that song many, many times [throughout] Super Bowl weekend.”

Meek Mill was the first to respond to Drama’s comments, with the Eagles previously using “Dreams & Nightmares” as their anthem for their Super Bowl LII championship run in 2018.

“Intro been lighting the world for 10 years!” he tweeted. “Like shaking rooms for years!”
