The first week sales projections have been revealed for Meek Mill’s debut album Dreams & Nightmares.
According to HHD, the Maybach Music Group rapper is slated to sell 175,000 to 200,000 copies of his first studio LP. That would put him on track to top the charts if Taylor Swift’s Red faces a drastic decline in sales.
This week, Kendrick Lamar had a similarly solid debut with good kid, m.A.A.d city, which sold 242,000 copies and bowing at No. 2 on the charts.
Mill’s Dreams & Nightmares features guest appearances from Nas, Rick Ross, Drake, Mary J. Blige and more.

Congrats to Meek and MMG so far Ross is 2 for 2 with his artists he must have a good ear for artists as well as beats. Wale did good #s and went gold Meek gonna go gold. not too bad of a start for a label that only been around like a year or 2. I bought the album, its not a classic but its definitely worth a listen 4/5.

480k for ross, 250k for self made 2, and if meek gets to 250-300k sales they limp to 1mil sales for the entire label this year. This nigga is not reppin Philly right. His lyrics overall are pretty average at best, but he shows some signs of lyrical prowess here and there and sometimes the content of his rhymes is pretty good. The beat selection is very repetitive. I could add vocals from an MMG rapper to 90% of their beats and it sounds like the exact same song. You can’t even mention this guy with the likes of Black Thought, Ca$$idy, Gillie da kid, Beanie Segal, Freeway. Hell, I wouldn’t even put this cat on the same level as Will Smith lol. When meek first came out I thought dude was Ace Hood lol
