Meek Mill Addresses Wild Claim He Was Extorted By L.A. Crips For $50K

Meek Mill has responded to wild claims that he was once extorted by a gang of Los Angeles Crips for $50,000.

In resurfaced interview following his recent arrest, Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crip Luce Cannon claimed that he and a group of others held the Philadelphia rapper hostage in an L.A. nightclub until the hefty ransom was paid by Meek’s MMG label boss Rick Ross.

After Cannon’s story circulated online, Meek took to social media on Tuesday (March 25) to call cap on his claims.

He wrote: “This guy must be using a story to confuse his indictment because I never seen him B4 …I woulda put him to ‘gods test’ on the spot! I never even met buddy but I don’t ‘negotiate’ with ‘fake thugs’ ask him what chain because all my chains some shit lol watches all 300k up vibes.”

Meek added: “It’s a real world real la n-ggas that respect the shit out me how I carry myself in an open arms wya to build my people up ion care where you from… that’s why you seen my around NIPSEY and others … men of respect and honor!”

The “Dreams and Nightmares” star reiterated: “ME NIPSEY YG MUSTARD AND FEW OTHERS MADE SURE WE DIDNT FOLLOW THE EAST COAST WEST COAST narrative! I changed my life by blessings …. but i always been down to meet up with ‘fake street bully’s in abandon areas’ where it’s no civilians and take they heart!”

Luce Cannon (real name Termaine Williams) made the outrageous claims during an appearance on AkademiksOff the Record podcast last year.

He claimed that they targeted Meek Mill because he was “talking real reckless on Twitter” and “we needed that bag.”

“We caught him at the club where he was performing at,” the gang member said. “As soon as he walked in, all of the security that was with him, they spun around. I grabbed cuz like, ‘Bro, wassup?’ I said, ‘Get on the phone with Ross.’”

He added: “We grabbed the n-gga and took him outside, and we waited.”

Cannon claimed that he and his accomplices charged Rick Ross $50,000 in “cash” for the release of his artist.

Asked if Meek would have been “in the trunk” had Rozay not coughed up the money, Cannon replied: “Yeah, of course.”

    1. Bruh Meek Mill has to DENY A LOT of rumours. Suspect photos and times with Michael Ruben, Diddy and now getting kidnapped when he goes to the club omg

    2. These interviews about him getting extorted are not new. Meek waited until everyone got locked up to say something… it’s funny that he would call a gang member indicted in a gang rico a “fake thug”. No one is as gangster as the chasers from the trenches if Philly…

    3. If meek had said he didn’t know dude period! I would believe him. But he writing all that in response to luce claim got me feeling there might be some truth the whole story

    4. What’s crazy is this is the same dude who said he straight up witnessed Tha Diddler clappin Pops from Family Matters CHEEKS! Is it a coincidence that Meek denies knowin him cuz he supposedly got smashed by the Diddler TOO? 👀 ? 🤔???

    5. Meek gives himself away every time. Call him broke or a pussy etc. and he will go on and on and on denying it. Then he always tells us how respected he is and how much money he has and that he is the real deal. Oh and how can forget- don’t call him gay.

    6. Meek has been a famous rapper since he was a teenager. Why is he still trying to prove to the world he’s some certified thorough triple OG gangster. No one’s buying it. Just cause you grew up poor with dirty braids doesn’t mean you’re hard or tough.
