MC Lyte presented a student a $50,000 scholarship on the Steve Harvey Show today (October 21).
Cortney Rhodes will attend Dillard University in New Orleans, where the emcee serves as Board of Trustees. Rhodes is 19 years old and from San Antonio. He is a graduate of Steve Harvey’s Mentoring Camp.
The scholarship is presented through MC Lyte‘s Hip Hop Sisters Foundation’s #EducateOurMen initiative.
