Maxo Kream has turned himself in to authorities in his ongoing RICO case — and told his followers he’ll “never fold” regarding the matter.

In an Instagram post dated Monday (April 3), the “Drizzy Draco” rapper revealed that he’s returning to jail over what he called “light shit” in connection to the case.

And though he didn’t go into detail about what the “light shit” entailed, he promised that he’d “never bend break or fold,” suggesting that he wouldn’t be turning state’s evidence on any of his co-defendants.

In recent years, Maxo Kream has made quite a name for himself as a rapper, teaming up with such artists as 03 Greedo, Babyface, and Anderson .Paak to release a series of back-to-back bangers.

However, the Houston native didn’t always have it that easy.

Flood Magazine reported that in the 1990s, when he was still a teenager, Maxo Kream (real name Emekwanem Ibemakanam Ogugua Biosah Jr.) joined the 52 Hoover Gangster Crips and began selling drugs.

And though a cover of Kendrick Lamar‘s “Rigamortis” earned him viral acclaim, he was still hanging out with the Kream Clicc gang and selling drugs.

It was this association that would, ultimately, land him in hot water.

In 2016, CW39 Houston reported that eight members of the Kream Clicc gang — including Maxo Kream — were arrested in a raid and hit with a wide variety of charges ranging from drug trafficking to money laundering.

At the time, Kream — who insisted he was innocent — posted $200,000 in bail and told his fans that he did nothing wrong.

“They’re out here saying organized crime, bro,” he wrote on Twitter “I’m organizing music for my album….Doing right….Trying to take care of the family.”

In 2018, Maxo Kream took to Instagram to announce that he — with the help of his attorneys — beat the RICO charges.

“Laws hit me wit the RICO but my Power Attorney had the Cheat Code,” he wrote in the caption at the time.
