A source from MCA records suggested that a track from Mary J. Blige’s new album, “Rock Steady” featuring Jay-Z, may not be found on the forthcoming, “No More Drama”. Apparently, the track leaked out of the recording studio and into the hands of a number of dj’s and will probably be rockin’ as many clubs, house parties and mix tapes as possible. While the Queen of Hip Hop Soul has kept us open for years now, a gem like “Rock Steady” with Jay-Z and Lenny Kravitz on guitar will likely be left off MJB’s fifth studio album as the struggle continues between the industry and illicit bootleggers.
Aside from the troubles surrounding “Rock Steady”, the rest of “No More Drama” which is scheduled for an August 21 release date will reflect the diva’s maturing attitude with a positive spin that she claims comes shining straight from the current romantic, familial and spiritual relationships in her life.
