Maino is currently gearing up for the release of his sophomore album The Day After Tomorrow (Oct. 4th), a joint venture between Atlantic Records and E1 Records. Speaking with Smash Block TV, the Brooklyn, New York native confirmed the joint release and explained it more as a building step.
“I’m still signed to Atlantic. E1 is working my project as far as the radio and stuff like that. It’s better. We just look at it like we added another team onto the team I already had,” he said, explaining that he wouldn’t mind taking an executive role. “I came in the game with artists, but the thing is, it takes time for me to actually build that brand big enough where I can walk someone here. We building, we coming. We’re trying to just continue to grow.”
